Marci was my last shoot before our move to Riverside. I warned her that it might take a me a bit longer than normal to get her photos back to her since we had to pack, move, un-pack….you know, all of the lovely things that come along with a 7 hour move. She assured me that it didn’t matter to her as long as we did her shoot! Marci is quite possibly the most patient person I’ve ever met. Thank you!

It was our last Sunday in Folsom and I decided to take them to Ancil Hoffman Park in Carmichael - a first for me. Enjoy your family portraits, Marci, and thank you for allowing me to be your photographer!

Do her boys look familiar? I did baby K’s newborn photos when he was just a few days old!

I photographed this great family back when I was just starting out. The boys did such a great job this time and even the little one would smile for me if I asked really nicely :) These were taken around 7pm at the Jensen Botanical Garden in Carmichael. Lots of fun natural light for photography!

I photographed this little guy’s newborn photos back in February. Look at how big he has gotten! I was so excited when his parents took me up on my suggestion to have our session outdoors. I had never photographed a baby outside before and let me tell you, I loved it! I have to rave about the fact that THEY BROUGHT THEIR OWN CHAIR for the shoot! I don’t have a truck so as much as I may be tempted to buy furniture for props, I simply don’t have a way to haul it.

Thanks again you guys for such an awesome family portrait session – it means so much to me when clients come back so that I can see how their family grows.

These sweet little guys were a DREAM to work with! I just love watching twins and observing how similar yet different they are. Their parents aren’t sure yet if they are idential, but let me tell you, as I was editing I most certainly could not tell them apart. haha. For this session, I had my friend and fellow photographer assisting (Bree….confusing, right? Two Bre/es?) – 10 week olds are a difficult age to shoot because they aren’t all curled up and sleepy like newborns, but they aren’t able to hold their heads up very well or sit. None the less, the boys were super easy going and we got some great images!
