These two precious girls are the only twins that I have photographed this year that I can easily tell apart, and that’s only because they have different color eyes
I’m terrible, I know! Aren’t they gorgeous? They were so sweet and cuddley and are already crawling! By the looks of them, they will be walking by 9 months. Ahhh, that’s when the fun will begin! hehe.

Twin 7.5 month old beauties!
June 29, 2010I photographed this little guy’s newborn photos back in February. Look at how big he has gotten! I was so excited when his parents took me up on my suggestion to have our session outdoors. I had never photographed a baby outside before and let me tell you, I loved it! I have to rave about the fact that THEY BROUGHT THEIR OWN CHAIR for the shoot! I don’t have a truck so as much as I may be tempted to buy furniture for props, I simply don’t have a way to haul it.
Thanks again you guys for such an awesome family portrait session – it means so much to me when clients come back so that I can see how their family grows.
These sweet little guys were a DREAM to work with! I just love watching twins and observing how similar yet different they are. Their parents aren’t sure yet if they are idential, but let me tell you, as I was editing I most certainly could not tell them apart. haha. For this session, I had my friend and fellow photographer assisting (Bree….confusing, right? Two Bre/es?) – 10 week olds are a difficult age to shoot because they aren’t all curled up and sleepy like newborns, but they aren’t able to hold their heads up very well or sit. None the less, the boys were super easy going and we got some great images!
Sommer & Jeff | Maternity Photos
June 7, 2010Sommer and Jeff are getting ready to welcome their second child, a sweet baby boy, this summer. Tatum is their 4 year old daughter whom you may notice is MIA for most of the photos. Poor Sommer…she had a dress all picked out for Tatum but when it came time to get ready Tatum just wouldn’t have it. If any of you have a 4 year old, you know that there are some battles that you just have to let go. I thought it was a cute story but I know how important it was to Jeff and Sommer to have her in the photos. We got a few, but we are going to hopefully go out again on a day when Tatum feels like playing dress up and instead of being my assistant, being my model! I do however want to thank little T for helping me capture a photo that I’ve been meaning to try for a while- the blowing of the dandelion! She may not be in her fancy dress, but she sure did become part of a beautiful photo!
Jeff & Sommer – congratulations on your baby boy. Boys rock!
