Candy & Salvador (aka Sal) got married at the beautiful Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Downtown Sacramento. Walking through the doors on their wedding day, I was filled with a sense of anticipation. The enormity of the space mirrored the enormity of the commitment that they were about to promise to each other and to God. Romantic, right?

Following the ceremony we photographed their formals across the street on the grounds of the Capital - always a favorite of mine. We then walked a few blocks the Library Galleria. We were greeted by the sounds of a marachi band and warm laughter of their family and friends. Candy & Sal were showered with love during the many speeches made by their family, including an especially stirring speech by the groom’s brother that had nearly everyone in tears.

Thank you again Candy & Sal for including me in your special day. What a privilege!

Also, a special thanks to my friend and fellow photographer Bree for 2nd shooting this gorgeous wedding with me!

Michelle and Myke have been married for almost 2 years but wanted some photos to display in their home besides their actual wedding photographs. I have been friends with Michelle and Myke for 6 years and Michelle was a bridesmaid in my wedding! I love this couple so much and they were so, so easy to photograph. They didn’t question my odd location choice (the new Palladio outdoor mall, still under construction, in Folsom) and made each of my pose requests completely natural and their own.

Thanks guys! You rock!

Bless Sara’s heart…she hired me even after I showed up to our wedding consultation with full blown laryngitis sounding like Donald Duck. I left our consult totally bummed that I probably wasn’t going to get to photograph their awesome, fun wedding…..but lucky for me, got an email from Sara just a few days later saying that they chose ME as their wedding photographer! Young brides hold a soft spot in my heart because I too was only 20 when I got married. I spy extra closely to see if they sneak a glass of champagne (cough*like I did*cough) but I think Sara just had cider ;)

Sara and Andrew got married in the beautiful Morris Chapel at The University of the Pacific and followed up with a warm, fun reception at Grandma’s property in French Camp. When they said that they wanted photos on the trampoline I about died of happiness. When Sara busted out a back-handspring on the trampoline I said, “Girl, okay, I’ll take the shot but please don’t fall!” – she nailed it!

Thank you guys for including me as a part of your awesome wedding day!

Lynn and Lonnell got married on a beautiful spring day at their church in Stockton. Following the ceremony, we went to Victory Park for formals and then it was off to party the night away at the reception! Approximately 200 guests made the whole event fun and full of life. The day was filled with too many special moments to list, so I will let the photos tell the story. Thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful wedding day Lynn & Lonnell!

Thank you to my friend and fellow photographer, Kris Lane, for 2nd shooting and providing several of the below images!
