I told you I was behind in blogging, right? haha. This was actually my second to last session of 2015 on a cold, grey day in Los Altos. However, that didn't stop us from capturing warm, sweet photos that were to be a Christmas gift to grandma! Tei and her sister both have children under the age of 1 so it was a great idea to get together for a family photo session as a gift to their mom. We laughed and had a great time, although the little 12 month old girl wasn't super fond of the camera. And by that I mean that she HATED it! The poor love cried almost any time she noticed me taking a photo. Thankfully we were all on the same page about capturing that part of her personality, something that she will likely grow out of and her parents will look back on fondly.
San Francisco Bay Area Family Photographer | In-Home Session
Again, you might recognize these folks! In December I photographed them family along with Tei's sister and her family as a Christmas gift for their mom. Baby Zane was 3 months old then, and here is a chubby, sitting, smiling 6 month old! I photographed the first part of his session in their home which was so fun for me. I love being in their environment and using spaces that are special to their family.
Little Zane was such a hoot! I loved his sweet chub (both of my kids lacked chub which was sad for me) and their family dog was quite interested in my camera for a few of the shots.
I will be photographing them again this summer for Zane's big 1 year session!
San Francisco Bay Area Family Photographer | The Harrisons
You might recognize these faces :) Last year I had the opportunity to photograph their family session in Los Altos in celebration of two lost front teeth and this time it was to celebrate their amazing au pair who was leaving them after 2 years to move back to Germany. I loved seeing her relationship with the two boys. She was like a wonderful big sister to them and I know she will be greatly missed.
We decided to try Sutro Baths and as always with Sutro Baths, I'm glad we did. I can't even tell you how much I love this place and it's surprising how many San Francisco locals have no idea it exists!
Thanks again Harrison family, and I hope to see you again for another session soon!
