I usually say no to newborn sessions. However, I've started to really enjoy them when my client allows me to do them the way I prefer, with mom and dad in nearly every shot. So basically, a family session...but with a newborn :) I had a wonderful time enjoying the peacefulness of this sweet baby girl and her two loving parents.
I photographed Kristine and Joe's wedding way back in 2012. After many moves and major life changes we have ended up nearly neighbors, living just 30 minutes apart (they were in San Francisco and I was in Seattle at the time of their wedding). I was so excited to learn that they were expecting and honored that I gota chance to photograph their family of 3.
Michelle wanted a foresty location for her family session which isn't always super easy to find here in the Bay Area without venturing out pretty far. However, we were able to find this hidden gem within the city limits of San Francisco! We got both beautiful lights as well as deep, rich tones underneath redwood trees. Perfect!
