I met Melody and her boys because her oldest goes to school with Reid. Reid is so lucky to have found such great friends at his new school and I'm lucky to have met their amazing parents! Melody is a single mama and needed some updated family photos so we scheduled a quick session one evening after school in her neighborhood of Ruby Hills here in Pleasanton. How amazing is this oak tree?! Wouldn't you know it, when I went back to this same spot to do a session for Melody's sister and her family the poor tree was falling apart and three of the large branches were supported by large beams :(
