Danielle & Gavin's Vizcaya Wedding | Sacramento, CA

This wedding was photographed by Anita Martin and Jo Clark on my behalf. I met Gavin and Danielle last year when I photographed their Sacramento engagement session. We discovered that Gavin went to high school with my husband and that we had a handful of mutual friends. They are awesome people and I knew that their wedding would be a blast. As you can see from the photos that definitely turned out to be true! I am so in love with the energy and personality in these photos.

I am so happy to be able to share this wedding with you. Big shout out to Anita and Jo for capturing Danielle and Gavin's wedding exactly as I would have!

Anita being awesome at what she does!

2nd Shooting with Chloe Ramirez of Chloe Photography

I've been good friends with Chloe since before I moved to Seattle. We are both originally from Northern California and we met in Las Vegas at WPPI (a large photography convention). We were instant buddies! When I found out that we were moving to Seattle I was so, so excited to be local to her. In fact, last year I photographed her maternity and birth and she photographed my family. We also get together for playdates, dinner dates with our families, and for coffee and photo talk :)

Wedding season is in full swing here in the PNW and it was a true pleasure for me to 2nd shoot alongside my friend. She is an amazing, talented photographer. You MUST go and see all of her shots from the day! Click on over to her blog HERE.

I got to hang with the guys while they were getting ready while Chloe captured the girls. This gorgeous couple gave Chloe a ton of time for portraits so I made it my goal to give them different angles and different perspectives, keeping in mind Chloe's style (which I know well) I am shooting with her again this Saturday and she will be shooting with me this fall. I can't wait!

Kristy & Michael's Palm Springs Wedding

The first time I met Kristy and Michael was on a balmy 108 degree day in downtown Palm Springs where we met to do their engagement session. When I haven't met a couple before (we had only emailed) I always wonder what type of people they are going to be and how we are going to get along. I mean, I get along with nearly everyone, but you know what I mean. Well, I ended up spending nearly 3 hours with Kristy and Michael at 4 different locations - I truly could have photographed them all day long. You can see their engagement session here! I knew that we'd have fun at their wedding and they did not disappoint. Their wedding was held at a truly magnificent private residence just outside of Palm Springs, the home of one of the groomsman's fathers. Kristy was glowing in her Jimmy Choos (the CHOOS!) and ethereal dress. I was a huge fan of the bright yellow that she chose for her bridesmaids and their fun chunky gold necklaces. Michael is a musician and when he was with his guys it was like a constant party. I have so many photos of them laughing which I love. The reception was amazing, on the grass under the stars with the smell of the fresh Mexican cuisine being cooked over fire. The tables were scattered with custom guitar picks with the couple's photo on them, carrying their theme of music and rock and roll.

Congratulations you guys! I had a wonderful time at your wedding and you make an amazing couple.
