When some of your best friends have a baby, there really is no other feeling in the world. I’ve known Michelle since I was 18 years old and a receptionist at a real estate office. Michelle became an instant friend and was even a bridesmaid in my wedding back in 2005. She and Myke got married just days before I gave birth to Reid, and I am so happy to share the photos of their first born, sweet baby W! He was just 8 days old when I got to meet him for the first time and take these photos. Michelle was a super woman and gave birth completely natural. I am so proud of the parents that they have already become and I can’t wait to watch sweet W grow up into a lovely young man. Congratulations, you guys! I love you! PS – you may recognize Michelle and Myke from this session that I did for them last year. Michelle was actually a couple of months pregnant…no wonder she was glowing ;)
I don’t do it enough. I just don’t do it enough.
Take photos of my son, that is. Of course, part of the reason is because he’s 2 1/2 years old and not exactly the ideal model as far as listening, smiling, and looking at the camera goes. However, since it is in the high 70′s here today (yes, I’m pointing and laughing at you) we took a few steps out our front door and had a little mini session. As difficult as 2 year olds can be to photograph, you get something really awesome from them: hilarious, genuine expressions. So, this is my Reid – silly, crazy, smiles way too large and likes to show off his newest tooth. Isn’t he awesome? :)
