Megan and Ryan were supposed to get married at a venue in Geyersville. For those not familiar with the area, Geyersville is north of Napa and was one of the many area affected by the horrific fires in October 2017. I was emailing back and forth with Megan as we kept an eye on the fires and sadly the decision had to be made to move the wedding. There was just too much smoke (it was an outdoor wedding) and too much unknown. Thankfully Keller Estates in Petaluma agreed to let Megan and Ryan host their wedding day on site despite the fact that they are actually not a wedding venue. I was so stressed for them knowing how much work it must have been to move a wedding with so little notice, but when I arrived I found the most laid back, calm couple that I've ever met. Megan told me, "You know what? All that matters is that we're all here and we are going to have an amazing time!" Hell. Yes. This was a no-bridezilla-zone and they stayed true to that sentiment - throughout the day their focus lay soley on spending a beautiful fall evening surrounded by their family and friends, all of whom had an absolute blast.
