Tori & Zack's Edgewood Lake Tahoe Wedding

Some people just win the genetic lottery and Tori and Zack are two of those people. If they plan on having kids can you imagine the gorgeous brunette babies that they will make? All joking aside, I have to mention that not only are they good looking but they are also great people. It's a rare day that you meet a man as polite and as courteous as Zack and Tori gives you the real down to earth genuine hugs that I love so much. I had a blast working with them on their wedding day and getting to know their family and friends. A shout-out to my talented associate Anita Martin for shooting with me and providing so many wonderful images to their gallery. The Edgewood Tahoe is a stunning venue and it was a joy to be able to shoot there again. Lake Tahoe makes for a perfect, romantic back drop and the weather could not have been more perfect. A light breeze washed over the water and the sun dipped below the mountain giving us gorgeous light during their sunset portraits.

Lots of laughs. A few tears. Good people. Good times. Congratulations, you two!

Richard & Vannie's Los Altos History Museum Wedding

My phone rang and the the screen said it was coming from Google in the Bay Area. Perplexed, I answered, fully expecting a sales call of some sort. It wasn't a sales call but instead a call from a Google concierge wanting to get wedding information for one of their employees and his fiance. My husband works for Amazon so I know that there are awesome perks in the tech industry but I had no idea that one of Google's perks is a concierge service! After a few separate chats with her I finally got in contact with the bride and groom- Richard and Vannie. I didn't actually meet them until the wedding and didn't even know what they looked like until I did a little online stalking- no wedding photographer wants to walk into a room and say, "Are you the groom?" haha. Both Vannie and Richard and sweet, kind people and I am so happy that Richard utilized his company perk in order to find me. Vannie was absolutely stunning in her flowing Reem Acra gown and Richard dapper with his grey suit and wooden tie clip. The Los Altos History Museum once again served as the perfect back drop for a romantic late spring wedding. The couple opted to do a first look and we got to leisurely stroll the property before the ceremony taking photos. During cocktail hour the most delicious hor d'oeuvres were passed around including BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, and grilled cheese. As if that wasn't enough comfort food Vannie and Richard opted for a giant donut wedding cake and popsicles instead of more traditional deserts!

Congrats again you two, and thanks for allowing me to be a part of your day!

Kara & Patrick's Los Altos History Museum Wedding

Kara and Patrick's wedding at the beautiful Los Altos History Museum was my first of four at this venue this year! I love flying into San Jose and I love Los Altos. In many ways, this part of California still feels like home to me. Every time I am hired to shoot a wedding here I get so, so excited. What do I love about the Los Altos History Museum as a wedding photographer? The way the light falls during the reception, the lush gardens, the orchard in the back of the property, the fact that you can have your entire reception outdoors, the ability to openly wander the property without restrictions, and the amazing way that it's run. They make sure that their couples have the perfect wedding experience and as a photographer, that makes me so very happy. I love Kara and Patrick. They are sweet, funny, easy-going, and their love for each other is made clear in every interaction that they have. Their wedding was a joy to photograph. I loved the way their parents cried, Patrick's jokes, Kara's awesome bridesmaids, and their super fun friends and family.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!
