I did it. I joined "the dark side".
I got a Blackberry :D ...and yes, I already hover over it, waiting for new emails to come in. Such a novel ideal, getting emails on your PHONE....Facebook too!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to keep my old number, so please make note of the new one!!
